Those 4 little rectangular slots below are internal drive bays… up to 4 serial drives inside at once without any third party hardware added…
And there’s also a Firewire 800 port on the front now. They have removed a 400 port from the back, and added an extra USB 2.0, but at least they didn’t abandon firewire 800 in its entirety.
