I had written a post about Firewire’s future and I was a bit worried that Firewire 800 might be going the way of the Dodo bird. But then we get the new Mac Pro with 800 on the front and 800 on the new iMac. And finally Firewire returning to the 15 inch Macbook Pro. I’m sure it will never trickle down to the Macbook but that’s ok. At least it’s on the 15. Maybe it’s going to stay around for a while longer.
