Jake Ludington’s MediaBlab is a nice site that delivers the goods on all things digital. Everything is discussed, including (but I’m sure not limited to) Digital Video, DVD Hacks, Gadgets, HDTV, Media Center PC, Media Hacks, Photography, Podcasting, PSP Hacks, PSP and iPod Movies, Unbundled Media, VoIP, Xbox 360.  That’s pretty much all things digital. Today there was an interesting topic on reader poll results from readers and the editing apps they use. Here’s the results:

The color coding is a bit hard to read when it gets into the darker purple shades but it’s pretty easy to see that Final Cut Pro came up short. And it looks to me like the Avid category is only 2%. I would say I was surprised that they both didn’t get any higher results the site is a bit more consumer (and therefore PC) oriented so the results are too surprising. But it’s interesting anyway. And I guess since I live in a Macintosh world is the reason I’ve never even heard of VirtualDub and Nero!
