Entertainment Weekly isn’t generally known for its deep insight into the filmmaking process but on occasion they do manage to include an article of general interest to the more hardcore film fanatic. This week’s edition is “The Inspirations Issue” and there is a 4 way question and answer session with Anthony Minghella, Catherine Hardwicke, Christopher Guest and … McG! While I’m not sure McG really belongs in that company he does ask a lot of good questions of the other filmmakers. Read the extended article online here.

    I enjoyed that issue immensely. Really likd their photo issue earlier this year as well… I have been a subscriber to that mag for years (it looks fluffy, but actually has good info).
