The Cutting Edge documentary online
By S Simmons. Filed in Editing |The Educational Television blog (“the best educational videos on the internet”) has posted the entire documentary The Cutting Edge on Google video. This is great except for the fact that I finally got my own dvd copy from Amazon a few weeks ago. Oh well. I still can’t bring myself to watch more than a few minutes of video online at any given time, much less 1:28:43. But if you want to watch it all just watch below, or for a bigger pixelated web video experience Google video has it here.

I totally agree about being unable to watch web video. Perhaps it’s because moving pictures are our industry, and it’s painful to see so much hard work get obliterated by web compressions and the tiny frame sizes. So strange that high def formats and larger screens are so popular, yet there is massive demand to watch the same content on your phone or mp3 player. It’s hard to know how we will be watching our media in 10 years time!
