Updated Avid Mac cheat sheet available

It was noted in a post on the Avid support forums the other day that the Avid Mac Cheat Sheet had been updated to version 1.4 on 10/10/07. If you’ve never seen the 20 page Mac Cheat Sheet then you should give it a look as it’s helpful for all things Avid and Mac. From the Avid website:
The attached document is an unofficial Avid doc, compiled by the Avid Customer Support team. It is intended to help customers properly configure and troubleshoot Mac editing systems – both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. Included are some tips and tricks to maximize performance and stability of your system. While this isn’t an official document, it’s meant to help people struggling with Mac’s and Adrenaline.
Especially useful is the “Apple OSX/QuickTime Compatibility” chart. Avid doesn’t support new version of Quicktime upon release as they must be tested first so this chart is an easy way to see where support currently stands. A direct link to the pdf file is here.
