I have seen many short films, even some of my own, suffer at festivals because the audio was poor. The image may look stupendous, but if there are audio issues, people don't like the movie. This is an important thing for everyone, especially students, to remember because we have a tendency to focus on getting the picture to look great and forget to build a good sound track.
