Problems with the Editblog
By S Simmons. Filed in Editing |
For the last week I’ve been having log-in and error issues here at the Editblog. It finally all crashed down early in the week with only spotty service. So if you have been trying to access any archives they probably haven’t worked! I have been assured by my hosting company they are working on this … but as you can probably see that as of this posting there are no images and no categories and no blog-roll. But the archives seem to be there so that is a plus. This really couldn’t have happened at a worse time what with NAB 2008 next week and the Digital Production Buzz show tomorrow. I have back-ups but all this php and inner workings of WordPress is something that I don’t know about. I seem to be at the mercy of the hosting company to get it back up and rolling so I sure hope they can. Sigh……..

Scott,
I’m testing the blog. The images and archives seem to be all back. The speed is pretty good except for some of the denser images.
How is it working from your point of view?

Not bad. It’s up and that is a plus. No categories any more. And I wonder if all the RSS subscriptions will still see updates. Seems to be working on Feedburner

Hey, at least editblog still showed up partially…when we have server issues in The Garage we get the dreaded white screen!
