New look to the Editblog

Since I recently updated my online edit reel I thought … why not give the Editblog a little refresh as well! And after all the problems and downtime recently it seemed like the perfect time. That and the WordPress 2.5 update all made it possible. I still don’t have the categories anymore but I will try to re-update them as things go along. Plus there’s the new tagging feature in 2.5, I think I’ll try that too. Now if I could only figure out why the WordPress 2.5 won’t let me create links in the visual compose window or upload images I’d be good. Any other WordPress 2.5 users had this problem?

I really like this new look. It makes much better use of screen real estate.

    Nice reel too btw.

I’m just kinda bummed that you left my favorite show of yours out of your edit roll. What’s wrong with Life of Ryan? :-)

??? Life of Ryan ??? What’s that? That might be the other editor Scott Simmons out there. Who’d a thunk it?

  4. Comment by James:

Life of Ryan is an MTV show (I know, I know). I caught the name “Scott Simmons” in the credits once and was like, “Woah… I read his blog…” but evidently there is a different one who is the supervising editor for the show.

    Oh well…

I had to de-activate my del.icio.us plugin to get the image uploader to work.

There’s also a thing about two lines of code which may need changing and/or a .htaccess addition, though for me it didn’t work til I got rid of the plugin. I think it depends what problem you’re getting.

    Love the new look Bro!

You may want to move the header text and search box down just a tad, as they overlap the images and become harder to read.
