Ten Tips For A Better Final Cut Pro Experience « digitalfilms

Thanks to Shane Ross for pointing to this great article on Oliver Peter’s site about tips for a better FCP experience. There’s been a lot of FCP tip articles out there (myself included) but Oliver’s article offers up great detail about a number of advanced tips and techniques. His tips are more than the push this button for this command types of things and if taken to heart, Peter’s tips will probably make you a more efficient editor.

If you’ve never checked out Oliver’s site then set aside some time for a number of very informative, very well written articles. Of special note is the article The Continuing Case for Offline Editing. A must read for any creative editor starting out in this time of full resolution HD and cheap media storeage drives.
