List of iPhone filmmaking apps
By S Simmons. Filed in Blogs and links, filmmaking, from the net |A while back I posted about my hopes for some great iPhone applications for filmmakers. While I’m still waiting on that timecode calculator deltree has posted a list of apps he has found on the iTunes app store that could come in handy for filmmaking. It’s not a huge list and they’re not all specifically for filmmaking but it’s a start. He also links to another great list of web apps over at Self Reliant Film. Keep ‘em coming iPhone developers!

Actually, don’t worry about that TC calc. Download time-calc. Latest update added frames and a variety of timecodes.
I’d written a tc calc back in the day for PalmOS devices…but this one is much prettier than mine ever was, and it’s already done!

check out this app, only 99 cents:
Grat’s Film Slate/Clapboard
http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=336543029&mt=8
This film slate/clapboard has two modes, classic black and modern white.
Edit the fields by tapping them. Supports “999Z” for Scene, Take, No, and Roll.
Date and time updated by the second.
Unlock the clapboard then tilt counter-clockwise and the clapboard animates open. Tilt back and it closes with a clack.
ACTION!
