Creative Cow goes Mobile

The other day while I listened to the newly resurrected Creative Cow News and Views podcast I learned that the COW had just launched a new mobile version of the site optimized for the iPhone. I checked it out during a long render today and man did they do a good job. It’s just like a mobile site should be … simple and fast. You can see from the image above what all the mobile version of the COW consists of and it’s pretty much the full site only ready for a mobile phone. Some of the Flash-based content won’t work on the iPhone because … you know … stupidly the iPhone doesn’t support Flash but the QuickTime tutorials and audio podcasts will play just fine.
It’s located at http://mobi.creativecow.com/ …. and you know what else, you can access the mobile version of the site from a desktop browser as well so if you want a really simple and really fast version of Creative Cow on the your desktop machine then you can point Firefox there too.
