The Editblog

I’ve had a couple of questions asking why the categories links in the sidebar don’t link to much of anything. A while back I had some major issues with my hosting company in that the Editblog pretty much crashed. It took a while to get restored but we lost the images and the category listings. We finally got the images back but the categories seemed lost forever. I tried put them back manually but with over 500 posts it just isn’t feasible so I’ve removed the category links from the sidebar since many of them don’t go to anything. It’s kind of frustrating in that they were an easy way to search. Sorry. I’ve been using the “+” search function in the search box to narrow searches recently. For example: review + plug returns only reviews with the term plug in them hence all the plug-in reviews. And just typing + avid only returns posts with a reference to Avid (or avid) in them. Come to think of it that’s a great way to search!
