Is there a way to do TC conversions on the calculator. It would be nice if one could put in a specific sequence time code for 24 and convert it to the sequence equivalent in 29.97 DF. In order to get exact lengths of TRT between the 2 formats. Thanks!

Hi, I'm the developer of "TC calculator" (the first one you speak about) and you're right, it was not working properly because a bug added at the last moment before its publication. After the update to version 1.1 I think it's solved. I couldn't solve it faster because nobody told me about the bug and I can not read the comments on other AppStores than the Spanish one. In the last release I've added support for other speeds and I'm planning other cool features, but if you have more suggestions I'll be very proud of implementing them for free (using my hobby-time).
Thanks for your comments!

I'm actually working on another one. Mine is a bit more than just a tc calc. It's a toolkit for Editors and Producers based around a tc calculator. It handles both tc and feet + frames. It has a few other features and a very slick user interface.

Maybe partly off-topic, but is there any good (preferably free) TC calculator that supports 24/25/30 fps, absolute frames AND footage in feet AND meters? I tend to constantly need this from my laptop, when no Avid is to be found.
Maybe Avid (or some brilliant developer) has ported Media Composer's timecode calculator? Should make at least some sense.

Can't Avid port their TC calculator to the iPhone/iTouch? They have included a fantastic TC calc with all versions of MC/AXP/FreeDV/etc. for as long as I can remember.
