The Editblog

There were two really great blog posts that popped up around the web today. The first is an article by Oliver Peters called 12 Tips for Better Film Editing. It’s just that, 12 tips to better editing of narrative films and a bit of discussion from Oliver about each of them. Second is Preparing for audio post – track management, roomtones, additional dialog, production by fellow Studio Daily blog writer Woody Woodhall. This is a discussion about how an editor can better prepare edits for OMF outputs and audio sessions. Go read them both and thanks to the authors for writing them up!
