- “Frost/Nixon†(Universal), Mike Hill and Dan Hanley
- “Milk†(Focus Features), Elliot Graham
- “Slumdog Millionaire†(Fox Searchlight), Chris Dickens
My money (and hope) is on Slumdog!

It’s an odd category. There’s simply no way of knowing who was the “best” editor as none of the voters saw the footage that didn’t make it in the final cut! I think they just switched out Dark Knight for The Reader (from Best Feature noms) cos it’s got some slick action in it…
