Avid Media Compsoer 5.0 has shipped and there’s articles all over the ‘net about it:

I took a tour around some of the interface changes while Kevin P McAuliffe wrote a review over at PVC. Share Ross looks at it from A Frog’s Eye View. Dylan Reeve had one of the first reviews on the ‘net. Editor Job ter Burg looks at some of the smaller things in v5. Steve Cohen discusses it too. This little video below is making the rounds now and it’s a much different perspective on a flooding disaster than the news coverage. I was going to say it’s different from what you’ll usually see but with the prevalence of Canon DSLRs these days you’ll pretty much see this type of video after any natural disaster. This one showed up and took my mind off the classroom floating down the interstate, Mill Creek, the Opryland Hotel, the big mall, the Nashville weather penis,  … so thanks to its creator.

It’s always a good idea to backup before you install a big release like the new Adobe CS5 Production Premium.
