Twitter about editing one year later

About a year ago (March 22nd to be exact) I dropped a post here on the Editblog about Twitter asking for followers to join in and discuss editing, post-production, and all those things we do. A good group began to follow and now a year later there’s a very active editing and post-production group of Twitterers out there in the world. Over at the Editblog on PVC I followed up on this post a year later, taking a look at where we are and where we might go from here.
There seems to HAVE BEEN a problem with the links to all my posts
Something is wrong here on the Editblog. When you try to click a link to a post, either here or through Google, you get a 404 Page Not Found error. We are working on this problem. Sorry ….
Okay, things seem to be back to normal now. My friend over at Digital Hooligans had the idea of checking to make sure this theme is compatible with WordPress 2.7. Check, not the problem. The next idea was to change the Permalinks setting. Check. I changed them to the default and the links were back but the Google search links all pointed to the ‘date and name’ type of links so they were still not found. I then changed the Permalinks back to ‘date and name’ (or whatever that setting is) and all the links in from a search engine seem to be restored. Whew. And all this help (thanks J and everyone else) came through Twitter. Follow blatherskyte if you are interested in tech, movies, motorcycles and/or interesting and fun links in general! I can honestly say you learn more about things when things break. It’s not ideal but is sure is a way to gather info!
A morning Twittermosaic
A blog post this morning pointed me to Twittermosaic. It’ll take all those cute little icons from your friends or followers and make a fun little mosaic for all the world to see. You can even buy a bunch of stuff with the images plastered on it. These are my Twitter friends, though all aren’t following me so “friends” might not be the right term no is it? (it might take this thing a second or three to load btw):
